224 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 1963

This is the only commonly available varmint cartridge with a belted case design – a design usually reserved for larger cartridges.

240 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 1968

Delivers 3,500 fps muzzle velocity (80 grain bullet) and is, on average, considerably faster than any existing standard cartridge shooting a 6mm caliber bullet.

257 Weatherby Magnum

Developed 1943 / Produced 1945

Roy Weatherby’s personal favorite. Travels 3,870 fps (80 grain bullet), giving you the flattest trajectory of any 25 caliber rifle in the world.

270 Weatherby Magnum

Developed 1943 / Produced 1945

Was one of the first Weatherby Magnums offered to customers. A turbo 270 WIN that shares a 2.545” length case with the 257, 270, and 7mm Weatherby Magnums.

6.5 Weatherby RPM

The goal of the 6.5 WBY RPM (rebated precision magnum) was initially based around maximizing the potential of the Mark V 6 Lug action. Setting out to produce the best backcountry rifle and cartridge combination ever.

6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 2016

Current popularity in the extremely accurate 6.5 caliber bullet led to the development of unmatched velocity in a 6.5 cartridge.

7mm Weatherby Magnum

Developed 1944 / Produced 1947

Introduced nearly 20 years before the popular 7mm Remington Magnum, the Weatherby version gives non-handloaders handloaded 7mm magnum performance.

300 Weatherby Magnum

Developed 1944 / Produced 1945

By far the most popular and versatile Weatherby cartridge available. One could say the 300 WBY was 50 years ahead of its time.

30-378 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 1996

The 30-378 was designed & tested in late 1959 – early 1960 by Weatherby at the request of the United States Army for the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Loads were to be developed to exceed 4000 FPS & as close to 5000FPS*. When it was commercially introduced in 1996, it was billed as the world’s fastest 30 caliber cartridge and will push a 30 caliber bullet 3,500 feet per second.

340 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 1963

Shooting a .338 caliber bullet, the 340 Weatherby was designed as a response to the 338 Winchester Mag. However, Roy took advantage of the longer case to pack in more powder for greater velocity.

338-378 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 1998

Another Weatherby wildcat, first developed in the 1960s. This is the ultimate cartridge for long-range, big game hunting.

375 Weatherby Magnum

Produced 1947

This cartridge is the result of giving the “Weatherby treatment” to the legendary 375 H&H.

378 Weatherby Magnum

416 Weatherby Magnum

460 Weatherby Magnum

Considered to be the world’s largest, most powerful shoulder-fired cartridge, the 460 shoots a 500 grain bullet at 2,600 fps, delivering an incredible 7,507 foot pounds of muzzle energy.
